Welcome to the official website of Ross-on-Wye Town Council

- The Neighbourhood Development Plan text as approved by the Town Council on 11th March 2019 has now been submitted to Herefordshire Council in preparation for its next public consultation which will be managed by Herefordshire Council.
The Regulation 16 Consultation on the Ross-on-Wye Neighbourhood Plan has been postponed because of the North Ward election. In view of some local concerns raised about the future of The Chase Hotel site, we are using the unavoidable delay to prepare and undertake a full public consultation on the site - probably running from June 7 - 28. The timetable will then be for the Steering Group to consider the responses to the consultation and agree consequent changes to the Plan text at a meeting on 4th July. The Town Council will then consider the revised Plan, for submission at Regulation 15 & 16, at its meeting on 8th July. The Plan should be submitted shortly thereafter, and a further notice will be posted here when we know the Regulation 16 timetable. This process should enable the Plan to move forward with strong evidence underpinning policies relating to the site - and to do so with the shortest possible delay.

The Regulation 14 Plan text is still available here.
